Monthly Night Guild Meeting:
•GQG meets 2nd Thursday each month at the First Christian Church, 14th St. Ext. (click here for directions)
•Meetings Start at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center
•Each meeting typically lasts about 2 hours and begin with a social half hour and icebreaker event! The evenings include a short business meeting with pertinent happenings covered, and then show and tell of quilts and crafts accomplished by our members. Occasionally we will have guest speakers when the meeting will be longer. Refreshments are provided!

•Meetings are from 1-3 p.m in the Crafts Room.
• Each meeting typically lasts about 2 hours and includes a short business meeting with pertinent happenings covered, and then show and tell of quilts and crafts accomplished by our members.
Saturday Sew Day
•Every month, the Greenville Quilters Guild sponsors a Saturday afternoon sew!
•Meetings are from 12 Noon until 4 p.m.
•This group is for members to gather to work on personal projects or to help with a guild project. Normally the program at the monthly night guild meeting on the 2nd Thursday is a preview of any projects that the guild is undertaking. This sew day is held at the Greenville Parks and Rec Arts & Craft Center at Jaycee Park on 2000 Cedar Lane, off 10th St. (click here for directions) The date of this event is usually the 3rd Saturday or the Saturday of the week following the Guild Members Meeting.
Some Saturdays might include a workshop that is taught by one of our members. Examples of past workshops include; an
appliqued sweatshirt, placemats for veterans in nursing homes, fidget quilts, various tote
bags, etc. Please check the calendar on the Upcoming Events Tab.
The following events are open to the public but provide our members an opportunity to get together and to interact with members of the community that may not be a member of our guild. These events are not guild sponsored
•A weekly meeting of casual quilters known as "The Sewing Club" at at Greenville Parks and Rec Arts & Crafts Center at Jaycee Park on Cedar Lane, off 10th St. (click here for directions)
•Meetings are from 6-8 p.m.
•This is a casual social quilters evening for those who enjoy a few hours out of the house between main meetings. There is not a
scheduled program for this gathering. Everyone is encouraged to bring whatever project they are working on. It is an opportunity to ask for and receive assistance with a project. All quilters of any level are welcome at the Monday Quilt Club gatherings. •A Quilting Bee meets weekly at the Pitt County Council of Aging (Senior Center) Building, off County Home Road (click here for directions)
•Meetings are from 12:30 to about 5 p.m.
•Thursday afternoons is another casual quilter’s gathering for those who enjoy spending time with friends and working on projects. There is not a scheduled program for this gathering and everyone is encouraged to bring whatever they would like to work on. It is an opportunity to socialize and if needed, receive assistance or advice with a project. All quilters of any level are welcome at the Quilting Bee.
